The Dragons are pleased to announce that talented outside back Montaya Hudson has signed a two-year deal with the club.
The deal will see the 20-year-old remain with the club until at least the end of the 2027 NRLW season.
A Cloncurry native, Hudson has progressed through the grades north of the border having spent the past three BMD Premiership campaigns plying her trade with the Norths Devils and Brisbane Tigers.
An Under 19s State of Origin representative with Queensland in 2024, Hudson made the transition up into the Broncos’ Top 24 squad this past season and now makes the move south in search of an NRLW debut.
“Montaya’s a really talented, young player and it’s exciting to have her join the squad,” Head Coach Nathan Cross said.
“She’s a terrific athlete and has the attitude and work ethic to develop into a key player for us. She’s been really impressive playing in the BMD Premiership and has been a part of a strong system in Brisbane. We look forward to welcoming her to the Red V.”
