Flanagan named in Australian PM’s XIII squad

Kyle Flanagan has been named in 2025 Australian Prime Minister’s XIII squad for the side’s trip to Port Moresby.

The team will travel to Papua New Guinean capital to take on the PNG Prime Minister’s XIII side on October 12th.

In his second year as a Dragon, Flanagan made 24 appearances notching seven tries, seven try assists, and 540 tackles at 91 per cent efficiency.

The 27-year-old brought up his 100th NRL appearance in the side’s season opener against Canterbury before going on to be one of just four players to appear in every match for the side.

It marks Flanagan’s first representative nod since captaining NSW’s Under 20s State of Origin squad back in 2018 – a fitting reward for the hard-working playmaker.
