Dragons launch 2026 Indigenous Jersey Design Competition

The Dragons are proud to launch our 2026 Indigenous Jersey Design Competition inviting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists aged 15 and over to take part.

As part of the club’s ongoing commitment to celebrating and honouring First Nations
cultures, the Indigenous Jersey initiative highlights the Dragons’ dedication to educating supporters and embracing cultural diversity within our community.

The 2026 Indigenous Jersey will feature an original artwork centred on the powerful theme of courage.

The selected design will be showcased not only on the official playing jersey but also across related merchandise providing the artist with a unique platform to share their cultural stories and traditions with a wider audience.

Submissions close Friday, 31 October 2025.

The final artwork will be chosen through a review process involving the Dragons Advisory Group, team members, staff, and Elders to ensure the design reflects the cultural themes and values outlined in the brief.
