Dragons help raise $155k for i98FM Illawarra Convoy

The Dragons, with the help of Squadron Energy, Remara, TripADeal, HWLE Lawyers, AGS Structural, Venues NSW and the NRL, raised $155,000 for the i98FM Illawarra Convoy.

The club's annual Convoy Round was celebrated at last week's Wollongong double-header when our NRLW squad faced North Queensland and our NRL squad took on Penrith.

A 17,442-strong crowd packed into WIN Stadium with $8.00 from every ticket sold going to the i98FM Illawarra Convoy courtesy of the aforementioned partners.

The largest gathering of trucks and bikes in the Southern Hemisphere, the i98FM Illawarra Convoy is one of the most extensive regional fundraisers in the country.

Money raised from the event provides support to individuals and families affected by life-threatening medical conditions, local hospitals and contributions to charities who service patients impacted by severe illness.

This year's i98FM Illawarra Convoy will be held on Sunday, November 16th with the lead bikes leaving Appin at 8:15am and everything wrapping up at Shellharbour Regional Airport for a huge Family Fun Day.

Since its inception in 2005, the i98FM Illawarra Convoy has raised upwards of $27 million and there is still plenty of time to donate this year.
