Harvey Norman Women’s Wrap: Round 10

St George and Illawarra both competed in Round 10 of the 2025 Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership over the weekend.

ST GEORGE DRAGONS

The Dragons were taken down by Parramatta 22-4 in Kellyville on Sunday.

Parramatta took an eight-point advantage into half-time courtesy of tries to Tamerah Leati and Zali Fay.

Pia Tapsell crashed over for the hosts early in the second stanza to cut the deficit back to four.

Aaliyah Soufan answered for the Eels however before Jessica Kennedy and Chelsea Makira found late tries to seal it.

ILLAWARRA STEELERS

The a fast-finishing Steelers unit bested the Sharks 24-16 at Collegians on Saturday.

Despite spending the early period of the match down a player due to a Taylor Ropata sin bin, the visitors drew first blood through Koffie Brookfield.

Milla Caine backed up her effort moments later to make it a double-digit difference.

Ella Churchill got the Steelers on the board prior to the break before Tahlia O’Brien crossed to lock things up on the other side of half-time.

Cronulla opted to knock over a 48th-minute penalty goal to retake the lead before Monique Donovan went over to give them a 16-10 advantage.

Maddie Studdon scored to breathe some life back into Illawarra's chances just shy of the hour-mark before Tyra Ekepati snagged one an hour in to give the Steelers their first lead of the match.

Churchill grabbed a second as time expired to seal a key, come-from-behind win for the Steelers.
