Squadron helps power successful New England Blitz

The Dragons, with the help of major partner Squadron Energy, this week took to the communities of New England as a part of the club's The Best You Can Be Blitz.

Club great Nathan Blacklock was joined by Dylan Egan and Tom Eisenhuth as the Dragons Community Team delivered the program to a host of schools across the region.

The team also hosted a Come & Try Clinic at Tingha's Bob Ward Oval as well as a Win The Morning event in Inverell.

Inverell High School's Clontarf Academy helped host our Win The Morning event cooking breakfast for all in attendance.

The program aims to assist teachers in encouraging children to make positive choices around health and wellbeing.

Focus topics within the resource include the importance of being active, tolerance, respect and inclusiveness, the importance of sleep, screen time management, hydration and nutrition.

The team made stops at Drummond Memorial Public School, Guyra Central School, St Mary's of Angels, Guyra Primary School, Tingha Public School, Black Mountain Public School and Uralla Central School.
