The Dragons can confirm that both our Andrew Johns and Laurie Daley Cup sides will compete under the Illawarra Steelers banner from the 2026 season onwards.
Having previously competed as the Illawarra South Coast Dragons, the pathways sides will now fall under the leadership of the Steelers in a show of club unity.
This new partnership aims to ease entry into first grade for our young local talent and help strengthen community rugby league into the future.
The Andrew Johns Cup and the Laurie Daley Cup are the NSW regional representative competitions for both Under 16s and Under 18s age groups.
The club's Laurie Daley Cup side were triumphant in this year's Grand Final taking down the Macarthur Wests Tigers 27 points to 16 at GIO Stadium.
