NRL Match Preview: Round 22 v Raiders

The Dragons will be in Wollongong this Saturday for a match-up with ladder leaders Canberra as the club celebrates Members Round.

The club's Knock-On Effect NSW Cup squad will be in action against the top of the table Warriors first at 3:10pm before our NRL outfit prepare for a 5:30pm face-off.

This week, we’re recognising the spirit of the club – our loyal Red V Members – with a range of special experiences on offer.

KIDS BIG DAY OUT

The club will be hosting the 12th annual Kids Big Day Out at WIN Stadium on Saturday.

The event caters to children with disabilities and their families by providing them with a memorable day out whilst watching the Dragons play.

The event features game tickets, face painting, music, plentiful food and drinks, and opportunities to meet superheroes as well as NRL and NRLW stars.

A BATTLE OF KNOCK-ON EFFECT NSW CUP HEAVYWEIGHTS

Get down to WIN Stadium early and cheer on the club's Knock-On Effect NSW Cup squad in a 1st vs. 2nd showdown.

The visiting Warriors will be chasing a 15th consecutive win whilst Willie Talau's Dragons have won 11 of their past 13.

Cody Ramsey captains the Dragons from the back with Lachlan Ilias, Loko Pasifiki Tonga, and Raymond Faitala-Mariner among the other names offering NRL experience.

For the Warriors, Jett Cleary – the younger brother of Penrith star Nathan – wears the No.7 with Bunty Afoa, Edward Kosi, and Tom Ale among their recognisable names.

  • Jaydn Su’A (knee) is unavailable for the Red V seeing Michael Molo slot into the second row and Hame Sele come onto the interchange.
  • Blake Lawrie also reverts to the interchange with Emre Guler starting after the duo made a last switch last week.
  • Gerringong Lions junior Hayden Buchanan has been named among the reserves for the first time in his career having crafted an impressive Knock-On Effect NSW Cup campaign this year.

  • Sebastian Kris (head knock) comes back in for the Raiders with Simi Sasagi reverting to the interchange and Noah Martin dropping back to the reserves.
