Dragons extend Indie Bostock

The Dragons are pleased to announce that Indie Bostock has signed a contract extension with the club.

The deal will see the teenager remain a Dragon until at least the end of the 2027 NRLW season.

A Shellharbour Stingrays junior, Bostock has amassed many an accolade coming through the grades having been twice named an Australian Schoolgirl and Under 19s Blues representative.

She has also collected a Tarsha Gale Cup premiership and Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership title with the Illawarra Steelers.

Bostock spent the 2024 season on a development contract with club and has this year transitioned into the Top 24.

She starred in her NRLW debut in Round 1 against Canberra scoring a memorable double, assisting on another try, and running for 185 metres.

“We’re very excited to announce that Indie will be a Dragon for the foreseeable future,” Head Coach Nathan Cross said.

“She’s another of our crop of local juniors who have been in the system for a few years and had a lot of success. Throughout preseason, she worked extremely hard to build her body into an NRLW player and ticked all the right boxes. She brings great energy to the group, and I’ve really enjoyed coaching her.”

Bostock added: “I’m really keen to stay at the club I’ve grown up playing my footy at for the next two years. I believe we’re creating something great here.”
