The Dragons are pleased to confirm that talented teenagers Alexander and Cornelius Pupualii have agreed to deals with the club.
The two will be contracted to the club until at least the end of the 2027 season.
The twins, who will turn 17 later in the year, come from a proud Samoan family and grew up in Mount Druitt playing their junior rugby league with the St Marys Saints.
Father Chaz hails from Mata’utu, Si’umu, and Lauli’i whilst mum Titi has roots in Salelologa and Salelavalu – both on the island of Savai’i.
The family was on hand at St George Leagues Club’s Spirit of the Red V Museum earlier in the week for an introduction.
Cornelius, an outside back, spent the Harold Matthews Cup season with Penrith whilst Alexander, a back rower, is currently rehabbing an ACL rupture suffered last year.
The twins, who will make the transition up to SG Ball level for the 2026 season, were thankful for the opportunity to join the club.
“I’m grateful. I just want to give back to my family. I’m ready to work hard and I’m ready to pull on this jersey,” Alexander said.
Cornelius added: “I have faith in this club’s coaching staff and players. There is so much history here. We’re both for the fans and can’t wait to represent them.”
