THE BERTH OF A RIVALRY

The Dragons and Bulldogs will be meeting for the first time at NRLW level with the hosts in the midst of their maiden campaign.

The two clubs have enjoyed a storied rivalry over a long period of time and this Saturday will meet in an NRL-NRLW double-header for the first time.

Canterbury have enjoyed an unbeaten start to their NRLW campaign whilst the Red V will be looking to bounce back from a tough Roosters defeat.

SISTERLY SHOWDOWN

Trinity and Alexis Tauaneai will face-off for the first time in their NRLW careers on Saturday.

Trinity debuted in Round 1 against Canberra and last week was awarded the side's Player of the Match Award.

Alexis meanwhile spent the first two seasons of her NRLW career with the Dragons before joining the Bulldogs for their inaugural season this year.

MAYNARD-PERRIN HITS MILESTONE

Nita Maynard-Perrin has been named in the No.14 jersey for her milestone 40th NRLW appearance.

The 33-year-old becomes just the 16th player in the competition's history to reach the milestone.

She made her NRLW debut for the Roosters in the premiership’s inaugural season back in 2018 and went on to spend three seasons at the Tricolours before stints at Brisbane, Parramatta, and Newcastle.

Maynard-Perrin spent the past two seasons with Newcastle having come off the bench for them in their victorious 2023 Grand Final.
