The Dragons fell to the Central Coast Roosters 22-12 at Jubilee Stadium on Sunday.
The visitors got on the board just four minutes in through Fa'agase Tupuola-Palale before Anabelle Ross joined her on the scoresheet midway through the opening stanza.
Ross grabbed a second prior to the break to give the Roosters a 12-0 advantage.
The Roosters winger made it three in a row early in the second half to grow the lead further before Dayna Stevens found St George's first try at the 53-minute mark.
Eliza Lopamaua scored for the visitors on the other side of the hour mark to quash any potential Dragons fightback.
Shaye Shipton, who was awarded the Remara Player of the Match, crossed over in the dying stages for the Red V.

The Steelers continued their unbeaten start to the year coming back from a half-time deficit to down the Eels 22-12 in Corrimal.
Ella Carlisle got the visitors on the board 17 minutes in before Josie Lenaz followed her lead to make it 8-0.
Maria Paseka got over for the Steelers prior to the break to cut the deficit back to four headed into half-time.
Georgie Barrett went over in the opening set of the second half to tie things up before Paige Knapp answered for the Eels to push the visitors back ahead.
Jessica Patea found a try for Illawarra an hour in to make it 12-all before Tayleah Handcock scored with five minutes to play to earn the hosts their first lead of the encounter.
Mackenzie Lear crashed over late to put a bow on a strong Steelers win.
Halfback Maddie Studdon took home the Remara Player of the Match Award.
