
The Illawarra Steelers on Sunday evening held their 2025 Junior Reps Presentation Night recognising the efforts of a host of the club's young stars.
The event was held at Collegians Wollongong with the club's SG Ball Cup, Tarsha Gale Cup, Harold Matthews Cup and Lisa Fiaola Cup teams all in attendance.
Kade Reed took home the Rick Posetti SG Ball Player of the Year Award whilst Charlie Heidke received the side's Coaches Award.
Reed also recieved the Brian Surtees Memorial Trophy for the Highest Point Scorer having scored seven tries and kicked 34 goals to finish with 96 points in nine matches.
Both men have made the leap up to Jersey Flegg level since the conclusion of the SG Ball season and played starring roles as the Dragons eye a late finals charge.

At Tarsha Gale Cup level, Under 19s Origin representatives Tori Shipton and Siu Richter took home silverware with the former named the side's Player of the Year and the latter recognised with the side's Coaches Award.
Fullback Oliver Burton was named the Harold Matthews Cup Player of the Year whilst Asher Chapman took home the side's Coaches Award.
Tahanni Kaufusi was awarded the Lisa Fiaola Cup Player of the Year Trophy whilst teammate Laila Poto received the side's Coaches Award.
Tim Driscoll and John Sharples were awarded the inaugural Nigel Eade Club Person of the Year Award.
