The Dragons are pleased to announce that teenaged prospect Oliver Burton has committed his future to the club until at least the end of the 2028 season.
The 16-year-old fullback said he’s wanted to play NRL since he first ran out onto a footy field as a little kid and credits Billy Slater and Johnathan Thurston as inspirations.
“I started playing when I was six at the Dapto Canaries and just fell in love with it,” Burton said.
“Obviously making my NRL debut for the Dragons one day is the main goal but I’d also love to represent my state and country one day.”
