
A collection of Dragons pathways players have earnt selection for this weekend's Country v City fixtures at Brookvale's 4 Pines Park.
Leeroy Weatherall, who spent the summer training with the club's NRL squad for the first time, has been named in the Men's Under 18s City squad whilst Steelers Harold Matthews Cup trio Api Amone, Ollie Burton, and Asher Chapman find themselves in the Boys Under 16s City side.
Jack Talbott and Archie Wheeler, who were both a part of Illawarra South Coast's Laurie Daley Cup Grand Final winning side, will represent the Men's Under 18s Country team whilst Hunter Berghuis, who spent the Andrew Johns Cup season with Illawarra South Coast, has been named in the Boys Under 16s Country line-up.
Liesl Hopoate and Siu Richter, who were both key members of Illawarra's Tarsha Gale Cup group, have been listed in the Women's Under 19s City side.
Another four Steelers were selected in the Women's Under 19s Country squad including Indie Bostock, Tahlia O’Brien, Tori Shipton and Bronte Wilson whilst Halle Barrett, Ella Churchill, Ella Greatz, Tahanni Kaufusi, Charlotte Nicolson and Laila Poto have all been named in the Girls Under 17s Country unit.
The slate of games begins on Saturday morning with the Boys Under 16s Country v City clash kicking off at 10:30am before the Men's Under 18s fixture at midday.
The Open Age Men's clash will kick-off at 1:50pm before a Wheelchair Rugby League matchup at 4:00pm.
On Sunday, the Physical Disability Country v City match will be on show at 10:00am before the Women Under 17s and Under 19s clashes are set for 11:15am and 12:50pm.
