Dragons Wheelchair Rugby League continue march towards finals

The Dragons Wheelchair Rugby League have enjoyed a strong recent period with the squad having nabbed three wins from their past four.

Five-try hauls to both Cory Cannane and Stephan Rochecouste saw the Red V secure a 64-44 win over Canberra in Round 5 with the side showing plenty of ticker and cohesion to seal the competition points.

They went down to the undefeated Rabbitohs in Ryde the following week 76-44 despite a Rouchecouste hat-trick.

There was plenty to take out of the clash however with the squad showing a heap of fight as they continued to craft their key combinations.

They bounced back in Round 7 with a 78-24 Anzac Round win over Parramatta in their first ever home game at the UOW Sports Hub in Wollongong.

Cannane and Rouchecouste again starred combining for eight tries in what proved a special occasion for both sides.

The Dragons managed to go back-to-back down in Queanbeyan with Cannane notching a phenomenal nine tries in another victory over the Raiders.

The side is currently sitting in second-place on the ladder entering the home stretch as they set their sights on a title.
