The Dragons and Squadron Energy this week hosted a Best You Can Be Blitz through schools in the state’s Central West.
NRLW star Keele Browne and former-Dragon Jeremy Latimore were on hand alongside the Dragons Community Team to deliver the program to six schools across the region.

The crew spoke to students about resilience and the importance of developing healthy habits before running through drills and games designed to improve rugby league skills.
They also handed out Squadron Energy gift packages to the children which included a Dragons Team Poster, a drink bottle, a drawstring bag and toys.

The team dropped into Goolma Public School, Ballimore Public School, Wellington Christian School, Wellington Public School, St Mary’s Catholic School Wellington and Gulgong Public School.
It marked Browne’s second trip out to the region with the visits again proving a success.
“It’s always exciting for us to make the trip out to some of these Central West schools,” she said.
“The students and teachers are so accommodating, and they take on board the messages that we are sharing. As a professional athlete, I know how important it is for these kids to learn the importance of developing good habits and making the right choices. Seeing them get involved in all our activities is really rewarding.”
