Injury update: Mathew Feagai

The Dragons can provide the following injury update on winger Mathew Feagai, who was taken from the field in the second half of the club’s win against Manly on Thursday night.

X-rays revealed a fibula fracture and high-grade syndesmosis injury in his right ankle.

Feagai will undergo surgery on Saturday to stabilise the fracture and syndesmosis ligament. A return-to-play timeframe will be determined once surgery is complete.

Forward Hamish Stewart also sustained a concussion against Manly and will be unavailable for round eight.
