Newcastle proved too strong for the Dragons on Saturday up in the Hunter running out 34-0 victors.
The hosts nabbed early tries through Lexi Manning and Rubie Drake-Brockman before Breanna Rawlins, Sybella Pike, and Ella Koen crossed prior to the break to make it 28-to-nothing.
Atlanta Hetariki was the only second-half try-scorer for the Knights as St George showed a nice amount of resolve, but the damage had been done with the hosts coming away with a comfortable victory.
Alexis Fenton took home the Remara Player of the Match for the Red V.

Holly Czornobej crossed for Illawarra on the stroke of full-time for their first points, but it proved in vain with Cronulla running out 10-point victors.

The Steelers snuck past the Dragons 12-10 in a thrilling club derby at WIN Stadium to remain undefeated on the year.
St George earned first points less than 10 minutes in with five-eighth Jasais Ah Kee sending centre Steven Tamaseu surging through a hole and into the in-goal down the right-hand corridor.
The Dragons were banging on the door again moments later, but it was Steelers winger Jaxon Ballinger who, against the run of play, took in an intercept and raced away 90 metres untouched to give his side the lead.
Ah Kee injected himself into the game again on the other side of the break shrugging away from a tackle attempt and finding a charging Phoenix Johns who powered his way over to wrestle the lead back for the visitors.
With the minutes ticking away and their winning streak in jeopardy, fullback Ollie Burton swept around down the left edge and hit Jordan Barlow who managed a one-handed offload to Ballinger for his second.
With ice in his veins, No.6 Tayler Humphries nailed the conversion from the left touchline to win the game for his side and keep them outright first on the ladder.

An Ana Ahmat double was not enough to propel the Dragons over the Knights in the Hunter with the visitors going down 24-10.
Stella Lewis went back-to-back to give the Knights an early lead before Ahmat responded with her first try of the contest.
Brandy Simpson and Summer Dowel grabbed four-pointers for the hosts prior to half-time before a stalemate of sorts.
Stevie Botham scored for Newcastle 53 minutes in before Ahmat notched her second just shy of the full-time siren.
Amal Dandan was named the Remara Player of the Match for the Dragons.

The Steelers held off the Sharks in a hard-fought affair at WIN Stadium coming away with a 12-8 win.
Chloe Shephard got the visitors on the board first 13 minutes in before Illawarra's one-two punch of Trinity Tauaneai and Seriah Palepale came up with a response.
Tauaneai shrugged her way to within inches of the chalk before Palepale took advantage of the incision she made to charge over the following play.
Shephard notched her second for Cronulla shortly after as the visitors took a two-point edge into the sheds.
On the other side of the break, Tauaneai reeled in a bouncing pass and showed off a beautiful right-foot step to power her way over to the right of the sticks and put the Steelers back ahead.
Tauaneai's try proved the match-winner as the Steelers held on for their fourth win of the season.

Illawarra managed to bounce back from a disappointing Round 5 loss to take down St George 32-6 in the inaugural Remara Cup at WIN Stadium.
Leeroy Weatherall, who spent the summer training with the club's NRL squad, took no time making his presence felt in his first SG Ball outing of 2025 diving over under the sticks off a Daniel Meafou offload to open his side's account.
Drew Langdon muscled his way over the line soon after before Ezekiel Kennedy burrowed his way over out of acting half to give the Steelers an 18-0 lead.
The Dragons came up with their first points on the other side of the break with Charlie Boyle sending a face ball the way of centre Cooper Meldrum who tipped it onto his winger Christopher Makhlouf to scurry over untouched.
Their fightback ran out of juice however with Steelers hooker Mason Phillips the beneficiary of another astute Meafou offload to extend their lead.
Aaymond Fitzgibbon took the line on and found a supporting Connor Sadler to lay on the Steelers' fifth soon after before the five-eighth sent centre Joseph Elton over on the stroke of full-time to ice the win for his side.
