The St George Illawarra Dragons last night launched the club’s 2025 Telstra Premiership campaign at George Street's Ivy Ballroom in Sydney.
Players, staff, special guests and partners were on hand as Chris O’Keefe emceed the evening and introduced the club’s NRL squad for season 2025.
Nathan Cross headed an NRLW panel in what was his first season launch as a Dragon before veterans Jack de Belin, Tom Eisenhuth, and Luciano Leilua took the stage for a Q&A of their own.
NRL Head Coach Shane Flanagan was flanked by co-captains Clint Gutherson and Damien Cook for the final panel of the evening before the club’s NRL squad were introduced to the crowd one-by-one.
“It’s been a good preseason, and we come into Round 1 pretty healthy,” Flanagan said.
“A lot of our corporate partners and sponsors, it’s really important they get the opportunity to see the players tonight because, without them, the club doesn’t function, so it’s big night and it sort of just makes you realise that we’re not far away now and we better get ready.”
The side’s Round 1 clash against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs is only nine days away with a sellout crowd expected at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.
