Dragons, Steelers stars on show in City v Country clashes

An array of Dragons and Steelers junior representatives standouts participated in the NSWRL's annual City v Country fixtures over the weekend.

Jacob Halangahu backed up his SG Ball Cup Grand Final Player of the Match gong with a Player of the Match nod in City's 48-18 win in the Under 18s Boys fixture.

Finau Latu notched a deserved try double whilst Hayden Buchanan also found his way over the stripe in the win.

Just three weeks on from her Tarsha Gale Cup Grand Final Player of the Match award, Indie Bostock grabbed a double of her own in Country's 26-18 extra time victory.

Steelers teammates Hope Millard and Chelsea Savill also proved key in the win with the former nabbing a needed try and the latter slotting a trio of conversions.

A dozen members of the Steelers' Tarsha Gale Cup premiership-winning side featured for Country to help lead them to their lone win of the weekend.
