Keele Browne signing the kids' The Best You Can Be workbooks.

Dragons Community will this week travel to NSW's Central West to continue The Best You Can Be Blitz in partnership with Squadron Energy.

Cody Ramsey will join NRLW stars Tara McGrath-West and Keele Browne on the three-day trip in which they will pay visits and run clinics at 13 different schools.

Afternoon clinics will also be on offer for juniors at the Wellington Cowboys (4:00pm-5:30pm, Tuesday) and Dunedoo Swans (4:00pm-5:30pm, Wednesday).

The visits begin on Tuesday, May 14th and run through until Thursday, May 16th.

The Blitz is designed to promote and encourage the physical, cultural, and intellectual welfare of young people throughout our communities.

The importance of being active, tolerance, respect and inclusiveness, the importance of sleep, screen time management, hydration and nutrition are among the topics focused on.

Ramsey is looking forward to getting out in the community and meeting all the local kids as a part of The Best You Can Be Blitz.

"Being sick over the past year and a half, I haven't been able to do as many things but, now I've come on the mend, I'm able to come and do these things," Ramsey said.

"I know because I was one of those country kids how much of an impact it makes and, whenever I'm home, I always try to do things with my old school or always go down to the park and just try and do as much as I can around that space."

Ramsey is also eager to make a quick pitstop in his native Molong - a small town of a little under 3,000 people 65 kilometres south of Wellington.

"My family and my little sisters are still in Molong and I've got a lot of friends there. I think I'll stay at Mum's Tuesday night, and I'll go see the family and go check out the Freemasons [Hotel]," he laughed.

"You know everyone in that whole town, you know everyone that plays, you know everyone's kids. Everyone goes back to the same pub, and they have the raffles or whatever they do. It's just a really good environment where everyone is friends."
