Dragons announce 2024 junior representative train-on squads

The St George Dragons have announced their SG Ball Cup, Harold Matthews Cup, and Tarsha Gale Cup train-on squads for the 2024 season.

The teams will come together on November 1st to commence their preseason training block which will run through until shortly before Christmas.

Three trial matches have been pencilled in for each squad including a run against the Steelers on Saturday, December 9th before facing the Roosters on Saturday, January 13th and the Sea Eagles the following weekend.

Willie Talau is again in charge of the Dragons’ SG Ball squad with former New Zealand and Samoan international Frank Pritchard leading the Harold Matthews side and Huw Ellis the Tarsha Gale Cup outfit.

The squads will be trimmed down to a final total of 28 with the first cuts being made after the opening trial against the Steelers and the second following the trial against the Roosters before the final squads are announced at the conclusion of the Sea Eagles trial.
