The Dragons shot out of the blocks against the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles with Jacob Liddle opening the scoring in just the fourth minute. Further tries to Alex Lobb, Sione Finau, Zach Herring and Treigh Stewart put the Dragons up 26-8 after 51 minutes but a late surge from the home side - including four tries in 12 minutes late in the match - sealed a 34-26 result.
