Dragons lower grades wrap: Round 8

A full wrap of the results for the Dragons' pathways sides in Knock On Effect Cup, Jersey Flegg, Harvey Norman Women's Premiership and Tarsha Gale Cup.

Knock On Effect Cup

An Alex Lobb hat-trick fired the Dragons Cup side to their second win of the season, against the Roosters at Wentworth Park on Sunday. After conceding two early tries to fall behind 12-0 after seven minutes, the Dragons hit back with five unanswered first-half tries. Young gun Savelio Tamale plus back rowers Billy Burns and Dan Russell were the other try-scorers in the 30-18 win.

Jersey Flegg Cup

It was a tougher outing for the Flegg side, going down 42-16 to the Roosters despite tries to Ben Johnson, Brock Sepulveda and Wesley Pring.

Harvey Norman Women's Premiership

The Women's Premiership side's impressive run came to an end via a narrow loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. Shak Tungai and Olivia Vale scored for the Steelers in the three-tries-to-two semi-final loss.

Harvey Norman Tarsha Gale Cup

The Tarsha Gale side also suffered a semi-final loss to the Bulldogs, unfortunately failing to score in the 28-0 result.
