St George Illawarra NRL Telstra Women's Premiership coach Jamie Soward has finalised his 17 ahead of the Dragons' Round 5 clash against the Newcastle Knights at Central Coast Stadium on Sunday, September 18 (3:45pm).

Page McGregor and Kezie Apps have been rested. Shontelle Stowers (St George Illawarra player No. 64) and Chantel Tugaga will start in the centres and back row respectively.

Zali Hopkins retains her place at five-eighth. Taliah Fuimaono moves to the centres and Keele Browne will start from the bench. Keeley Davis and Quincy Dodd have also swapped places between hooker and the interchange.

Talei Holmes and Monalisa Soliola were the other players to drop out of the Tuesday's initial 22-woman squad. Renee Targett and Aliti Namoce replace them on the interchange. Salma Nour is 18th woman.

The Dragons secured their place in the semi-finals last weekend following their thrilling golden point effort against the Brisbane Broncos. Regardless of Sunday's result, the Dragons will play Newcastle in week one of the finals.
