Dragons NRL trio take early pleas

St George Illawarra trio Francis Molo, Moses Mbye and Josh McGuire have taken the early guilty plea on their respective charges procured throughout the Dragons' NRL Round 23 win over the Gold Coast Titans.

Molo was charged with a grade three careless high tackle following his send-off hit on Titans centre Patrick Herbert. He will be out for four games.

It is yet to be determined how Molo's potential selection at the upcoming Rugby League World Cup influences his availability for the opening rounds of the Dragons' 2023 campaign.

Moses Mbye will miss the final two weeks of season 2022 for his grade two careless hit on fellow Titans centre Phil Sami in the opening minute of proceedings.

Josh McGuire has copped a $1000 fine for dangerous contact on Titans skipper Tino Fa'asuamaleaui, also in the opening exchanges.
