St George Illawarra are proud to announce Keira Rodrick as the Red V member of the match for Round 2.
As a thank you for her dedication, Keira was showcased during our Round 2 home game at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium, Kogarah on Friday, March 18 and was presented with a signed 2022 Dragons jersey.
Why was she selected as the Red V member of the match?
Keira received multiple nominations to be our Red V member of the match, showing her passion by becoming a Red V member at the age of five and attending matches at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium with her Kogarah Pass membership.
Residing in the Central Coast doesn't stop Keira from watching the Dragons play, travelling to both home and away matches with her mum, Fiona, for seven consecutive seasons as a member.
At just twelve years old, Keira gets to as many games as possible to join the chorus of fans cheering on the team and will often travel to a game over sleepovers with her friends.
Who is Keira’s favourite Dragons player (past or present) and why?
“Keira's favourite player is one that isn't with the Dragons anymore and that is Kalifa Faifai Loa. We met Kalifa at the traffic lights at WIN Stadium before a game. He took the time to talk with her and then always waved and chatted with her at every game after that. She was devastated when he departed the Dragons, but her current favourite player is Billy Burns.”
