Congratulations to Kogarah Cougars president Koda Ghassa for being awarded Georges River Council's Sportsperson of the Year.
A life-time member of the Cougars, Ghassa's exemplary work as a long-term volunteer for rugby league in the St George area has been duly rewarded.
Ghassa, who also works closely with St George District Rugby League, was honoured on Australia Day at Hurstville's Marana Auditorium.
