Dragons release Stowers, confirm replacement House

The St George Illawarra Dragons have come to terms on the release of NRL Women's Premiership player Shontelle Stowers by mutual consent.

Stowers was signed for the upcoming rescheduled 2021 NRLW season but will no longer take her place in the Dragons' squad. The club wish Stowers all the best in her future endeavours.

The Dragons have announced former Brisbane Broncos utility Kody House as Stowers replacement in the 24-woman squad.

House has previously played at the highest level for Queensland and Australia. The 31-year-old has already commenced pre-season training with her new Dragons teammates.
