The St George Illawarra Dragons will face the Gold Coast Titans at CBus Super Stadium, Gold Coast on Sunday, July 25. This is your Round 19 game day guide.

Young guns step up

Can you remember what you were doing 303 days ago? The answer is probably watching Jayden Sullivan help the Dragons to a surprise victory over the Melbourne Storm.

It's been a long wait between drinks for the Illawarra local who will run out for just his second NRL appearance on Sunday.

Match highlights: Round 20 v Storm

A string of untimely injuries kept the talented playmaker on the sidelines but Red V fans will finally get another glimpse at the promising prospect.

More recently, you might remember Mat Feagai scoring a try on debut against the Bulldogs back in Round 10 before an injury late in the match cut his time short.

Feagai will also play his second NRL match on Sunday and will no doubt look to keep his try-scoring ways going. View the Dragons Round 19 team here

Next-gen bonanza

It's not just the Dragons looking towards the future on Sunday with the Gold Coast handing halfback Toby Sexton his NRL debut.

The former Australian Schoolboys representative will have plenty of people watching him as he replaces injured Titans co-captain Jamal Fogarty.

Imposing winger Greg Marzhew also returns on the wing with an impressive strike rate of three tries in his first three NRL games.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Mitch Rein returns to play against his former club. Gerard Beale, Jack De Belin and Tariq Sims are the only players remaining from Rein's days in the Red V. View the Titans' Round 19 team here

Bird is the word

Jack Bird's road to 100 NRL games has had its highs and lows.

Debuting back in 2015 for the Cronulla Sharks, Bird went on to win a premiership the following year before a cruel run of injuries left him on the sidelines.

Back-to-back ACL injuries restricted Bird to just 17 games in two years. However, in testament to his character and competitive spirit, the Wollongong native has revived his career at the Dragons and will finally notch a century of NRL appearances on Sunday.
