NRL late mail: Round 18 v Sea Eagles

St George Illawarra coach Anthony Griffin has finalised his 17 ahead of the Dragons' Round 18 clash against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles on Friday, July 16 at CBus Super Stadium, Gold Coast (8:05pm).

Matt Dufty, Tyrell Fuimaono and Kaide Ellis will serve their respective one-game suspensions following the biosecurity breach in early July.

Daniel Alvaro and Zac Lomax's one-game suspensions from the same incident do not count in Round 18 given their respective unique circumstances.

Paul Vaughan has been replaced in the team by Jackson Ford at lock, with Jack de Belin named in the front row. Tyrell Sloan will play his second first grade game at fullback.

New recruit Jamayne Taunoa-Brown and Poasa Faamausili are the new faces on the bench.

Tariq Sims, who will celebrate his 100th game for the Dragons, and Ben Hunt have both been named to back up from Wednesday's State of Origin III. Gerard Beale will also celebrate his 200th NRL game against the Sea Eagles.

Jaiyden Hunt joins Jayden Sullivan and Talatau Amone as the players to drop out of Tuesday's initial 21-man squad.
