Dragons return to South Coast for special presentation

It's been a hot minute since the St George Illawarra were last on the South Coast. On Tuesday, the Dragons were delighted to return to the area for a special presentation at St Mary's Star of the Sea, Milton.

Previously prevented from visiting the school due COVID-19 restrictions, Dragons NRL Women's Premiership captain Kezie Apps, St.George Bank Ulladulla branch manager Lloyd Pigram and star of the show Happy Dragon presented the school with a cheque for $2000, courtesy of the club's major partner, St.George Bank.

During the Dragons' bushfire relief tour in February, former CEO Brian Johnston pledged to replace the burnt down goal posts that nearly claimed the entire school.

Students from the school also had the opportunity to participate in a skills clinic on the school oval, the home of the brand new set of goal posts.

St.George Bank also presented $2000 to Cobargo Public School for new goal posts during the Dragons' bushfire relief tour.
