Stats Amazing | Adam Clune

Adam Clune enjoyed a breakout year with the St George Illawarra Dragons in 2019 and has put himself in a prime position to make his mark in the NRL this season and beyond.

Clune orchestrated a stunning first-place finish for the Red V at the end of the regular season with some impressive Man of the Match performances, which also cemented his status as the halfback in the Team of the Year.

In his 22 appearances in 2019, Clune was ranked first in try-assists (28) and line-break assists (27), while also producing seven forced line-dropouts and 2535 kick-metres.

Adam Clune was one of four Dragons players who earned Team of the Year honours in 2019.

The live-wire was the cornerstone of the Dragon's attacking prowess in their surge towards the Preliminary Final as he formed a seamless combination with Darren Nicholls, Jai Field, and Tristan Sailor.

His best performance came in Round 7 of the Canterbury Cup NSW season last year where he recorded one try, two try-assists, two line-break assists, two line-breaks, and two tackle-breaks in the Dragons thumping 50-24 win over the North Sydney Bears.

He was awarded a place in the Dragons top 30 squad at the end of a gruelling pre-season and will look to earn a first-grade debut when, and if, the NRL season eventually returns.
