Fotu-Moala to seek downgrade at judiciary

St George Illawarra forward Teuila Fotu-Moala will dispute the grading of her dangerous contact – head/neck charge on Tuesday evening at the NRL judiciary.

If successful in downgrading the charge to a grade one (75 demerit points), Fotu-Moala will be available to play against the New Zealand Warriors this weekend.

However, her season will be over if the tackle is deemed a grade two offence (three-week suspension) by the judiciary panel.

The tackle in question occurred just prior to half-time of the Dragons' Round 1 Women's Premiership clash against the Brisbane Broncos on hooker Lavinia Gould.
