Sims charged following Cowboys win

St George Illawarra back-rower Tariq Sims has been hit with a grade two dangerous contact - head/neck charge following the Dragons' 22-14 win over the North Queensland Cowboys on Friday night.

An early guilty plea will see him miss two games, including State of Origin III. If he is to fight the charge and lose, he will miss three.

The Dragons and Sims have until midday on Monday to determine their plea.
