Four of the St George Illawarra Dragons' six junior representative sides have qualified for their respective competitions' final series this weekend.
WIN Stadium, Wollongong will host all four teams' finals on Saturday, April 13 beginning at 10:30am when the Illawarra Steelers and St George Dragons' Tarsha Gale Cup teams collide.
Entry is $5 in a whopping quadruple-header that will also include the Dragons' Jersey Flegg clash against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
Once again, it was the Under-18 females leading the way for St George Illawarra in 2019.
St George finished fourth on the competition ladder following their last start big win over the Sydney Roosters; their Illawarra counterparts earning the minor premiers after defeating the Canberra Raiders in a big way in the final round.
The Steelers' SG Ball and Harold Matthews teams were the other two teams to finish the regular season in finals football.
Despite a horrific injury toll where up to six starting players are currently unavailable, the Harold Matthews Steelers finished in fifth (and only one win off first) and will play Balmain this weekend.
The SG Ball Steelers were also very unlucky not to finish as minor premiers; falling to second on points differential to the Sea Eagles. They will face the Central Coast Roosters in week one of the finals.
Unfortunately, the St George Dragons' Harold Matthews and SG Ball teams failed to qualify for the finals.
