Dragons ambassadors win big at Commonwealth Games

St George Illawarra would like to congratulate Dragons ambassadors Emma McKeon and Grace Stewart on their outstanding achievements at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.

McKeon – born and bred in Wollongong – was able to clinch six medals throughout her swimming campaign including four gold medals and two bronze.

The 23-year-old was a key component of the Australian women's relay team where she captured a gold medal for each of her efforts in the 4x 100-metre freestyle relay, 4x 100-metre medley relay and 4x 200-metre freestyle relay.

Her other gold medal came in the 100-metre butterfly, while her bronze medals were claimed in the 200-metre butterfly and 200-metre freestyle.

Stewart claimed a silver medal for her role with the Hockeyroos, who fell short to New Zealand 4-1 in the final.

The Dragons would like all our supporters and fans to join in and congratulate McKeon and Stewart on their achievements.
