St George Illawarra junior reps qualify for finals

Four of St George Illawarra junior representative teams have qualified for their respective competitions' finals series set for this weekend.

Both St George Dragons and Illawarra Steelers' Tarsha Gale Cup sides will feature in finals football with them finishing sixth and second on the ladder respectively.

The St George Dragons will face elimination when they clash with the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Leichhardt Oval on Friday night at 6:15pm.

The Steelers ladies will be one of three Illawarra teams scheduled to play at Campbelltown Stadium on Sunday, with the Tarsha Gale Cup outfit to play the Wests Tigers at 11:30am for a place in the preliminary finals.

Both the Illawarra Steelers' Harold Matthews and SG Ball sides will face the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in do-or-die elimination finals, also on Sunday at Campbelltown Stadium.

The Harold Matthews will kick-off at 12:45pm, with the SG Ball to follow at 2:15pm in a big day for the Dragons' junior representative sides.
