TRANSPORT

With thousands of supporters expected to attend the traditional Anzac Day Roosters v Dragons clash, fans are urged to plan ahead and consider all the available travel options including driving with their groups, public transport, catching rideshare and taxis or walking for shorter trips.

Nearby parking is available (flat rate event parking fees apply) within short walking distance of the SCG at:

  • Entertainment Quarter car park, open 24 hours. Entry via Errol Flynn Blvd.
  • EP2 and EP3 Grass car parks on Driver Avenue, open from 12:45pm. Entry to EP2 (Kippax) via Moore Park Rd and entry to EP3 (Showground) via Lang Rd. $30 flat rate fee per car (EFTPOS only).
  • Sydney Boys & Girls High School car park, open from 1pm. Entry off Cleveland St.
  • See the TfNSW Moore Park map for parking and transport locations.

Gates open from 1.45pm ahead of kick off from 4.05pm so make the most of the day with plenty of local venues to enjoy before and after the match in short walking distance of the SCG. Fans are urged to arrive early to secure a parking space as traffic will be heavy on roads approaching the precinct and parking will be in high demand. You can find real-time traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
If you’re catching public transport, plan ahead and allow plenty of extra travel time as services will be busy. Please note you'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment method when travelling to and from the game on public transport. Register your details via the Opal website or app ahead of time.
Light rail services and express shuttle buses will run frequently between Central and Moore Park before and after the game, however please be patient as queues will be long especially after full-time, so consider walking instead via the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway and Devonshire Street to avoid the queues.
In line with NSW Health advice, it’s strongly recommended to wear a face mask when travelling on transport services. Sit or stand on the ‘green dots’, when possible and check real-time capacity indicators where available.
Additional queuing measures, signage and staff will be in place around Central Station, Moore Park transport hubs and the SCG to safely manage crowds arriving and leaving the game so be patient, practise physical distancing while in queues and follow the directions of staff on site.

For more details and to plan your trip visit transportnsw.info.
