St George Illawarra Dragons winger Nene Macdonald has been named in the Queensland ‘Emerging Maroons’ squad camp on Friday.

Macdonald is part of a 17-man squad named by Queensland Maroons State of Origin Head Coach Kevin Walters.

All players will take part in the upcoming day camp designed to provide players with an insight into what it takes to play State of Origin for Queensland.

“The pathway programs we have available through the QAS are second to none and this is another fantastic opportunity to look at the next generation of players coming through,” said Walters.
