The St George Illawarra Dragons have announced the re-signing of several further members from their Illawarra Steelers SG Ball Grand Final squad to new contracts.

Steelers prop Josh Dowel has agreed to a further two seasons and will remain at the Club, until at least the end of 2018.

The local Warrilla Gorillas junior most recently represented the NSW Combined High Schools U18 team that competed in the National Schoolboy Titles in July.

Additionally, Steelers winger Dylan Morris has been signed for a further season, until at least the end of 2017.

The local Kiama Knights junior, alongside Dowel, will join the Dragons' National Youth Competition team squad next season.

"It is great news to be able to announce the re-signing of a further two members of the fantastic Illawarra Steelers' SG Ball SG Ball Grand Final," said Director of Rugby League Pathways Ian Millward.

"Dylan is a player who has great speed and acceleration and has proven to be a prolific try-scorer so far during his time in the Junior Representatives.

"Josh is another local junior who has been in our systems for several years now and is very enthusiastic about continuing his development here at the Club."

Furthermore, Dragons NYC team duo Joe Lovodua and Israel Seufale have both agreed to a further two seasons, also until at least the end of 2018.

Lovodua is a local Kogarah Cougars junior who can play in the halves and was a graduate of the St George Dragons SG Ball team in 2015.

Moreover, Seufale is a Cabramatta Two Blues junior in the midst of his first season in the NYC after being elevated from the Dragons SG Ball team earlier this year.

"Joe and Israel are two exciting young players who were previously part of our St George Dragons SG Ball team at different stages of their career," said Millward.

"Both players have successfully made the step-up to our NYC squad and we look forward to seeing them continue representing the Dragons."
