St George Illawarra Dragons utility Kurt Mann has been named to face the North Queensland Cowboys in a triple-header of rugby league at WIN Stadium, Wollongong on Saturday.

The Winton Devils junior is part of an 18-man extended squad named by Head Coach Paul McGregor and has been named on the wing in lieu of Jason Nightingale who shifts to fullback.

Furthermore, halfback Benji Marshall (hamstring) has been named to partner co-captain Gareth Widdop in the halves whilst Joel Thompson (suspension) also makes his return to partner Jake Marketo in the second-row.

Dragons utility Josh McCrone is additionally part of an extended five-man interchange which also features props Jacob Host, Dunamis Lui and Will Matthews as well as fellow utility Siliva Havili.

Dragons duo Josh Dugan and Tyson Frizell are both unavailable for this fixture following their respective selections into the NSW Blues State of Origin squad.

The Dragons will be hosting a triple-header of rugby league which will see the Young Dragons commence festivities against the Cowboys in their National Youth Competition fixture at 3.15pm.

The Illawarra Cutters will then take the field to host the Wyong Roos in their NSW Cup fixture at 5.10pm while the Dragons first-grade team will round-out the triple-act when the face the Cowboys at 7.30pm!
