St George Illawarra Dragons captain Ben Creagh admits to being both humbled and honoured by being awarded the Dragons 'Player of the Year' Medal at the annual Presentation Night on Sunday.

The local University of Wollongong junior has previously been awarded the Club’s highest honour in 2007, 2009 and 2010 respectively and was additionally named as an NRL Ken Stephen’s Award finalist at the One Community Awards function on Thursday.

Creagh, 29, who was selected by both his peers and the coaching staff, started the season in the second-row before transitioning to prop-forward and scored three tries from his 22 games played.
