Born in Auckland and raised in Wollongong, Weatherall returns to the Dragons this season after a nearly three-year absence from the NRLW.
Weatherall made her NRLW debut for the Dragons less than a week after her 18th birthday in the club’s Round 1 clash back in 2019 and came off the bench in the side’s Grand Final loss that same year.
A Western Suburbs Red Devils junior, Weatherall skippered the Steelers Tarsha Gale Cup squad to premiership glory the same year and was also named captain of the NSW under-18s squad before being rewarded with a Māori Ferns call-up in 2020.
