1. Josh Dugan (Dragons)

Dugan's positional play defensively stood out most with the returning fullback saving multiple tries in the Red V's local derby win over Cronulla.

2. David Nofoaluma (Wests Tigers)

Nofoaluma scored twice, broke 13 tackles and made 160 metres despite the Titans pipping the Wests Tigers at the post.

3. Joey Leilua (Raiders)

Two tries and 12 tackle breaks from Leilua played part in the Raiders' 14-point dismantling of the Storm.

4. Shaun Kenny-Dowall (Roosters)

Kenny-Dowall has been the constant positive for the Roosters in 2016 and he continued that with 11 tackle breaks against the Cowboys.

5. Nene Macdonald (Titans)

Macdonald's long-range try-scoring efforts confirmed him as one of the Titans' best in their one-point win over the Tigers.

6. Anthony Milford (Broncos)

Milford's return to form in the Broncos' 22-point win over the Eels saw him score one try, set up two more and break eight tackles.

7. Mitch Pearce (Roosters)

Pearce set up two tries and controlled proceedings in the Roosters' upset 22-10 win over reigning premiers North Queensland.

8. Tariq Sims (Dragons, captain)

Sims's mid-season move to the Dragons continued to pay dividends, the ex-Knight scored twice and brought the physicality to the Sharks' huge forward pack.

9. Damien Cook (Rabbitohs)

Cook took over the playmaking duties in the second half of the Rabbitohs' 41-22 win over the Warriors, but it wasn't without plenty of defensive work in the middle of the paddock.

10. James Graham (Bulldogs)

Graham made a remarkable 179 metres and 63 tackles in the Bulldogs' golden point win over the Sea Eagles.

11. Josh Papalii (Raiders)

Papalii was rock solid as the Storm constantly hammered the Raiders' left-edge. The incumbent Kangaroos representative couldn't be faulted the entire game.

12. Martin Taupau (Sea Eagles)

Taupau was a wrecking ball for the Sea Eagles with his 258 metres and eight tackle breaks rattling plenty of rib cages.

13. Trent Merrin (Panthers)

Merrin was unstoppable in the middle of the paddock for the Panthers throughout their 42-6 win over the Knights.

Interchange:

14. Adam Reynolds (Rabbitohs)

Reynolds only played 45 minutes before a hamstring injury ruined his game, but by then he had already help the Rabbitohs blitz the Warriors with three try assists.

15. Boyd Cordner (Roosters)

Cordner's stellar form continued against the likes of representative forwards Gavin Cooper and Matt Scott. Proving he is one of the best backrowers in the game.

16. Matt Moylan (Panthers)

Moylan produced one of his best performances of the year thanks to a try and try assist against the Knights.

17. Elliott Whitehead (Raiders)

Whitehead celebrated his Raiders re-signing with a try assist, over 100 metres and 45 tackles against Melbourne.
