The second meeting of the Members Advisory Forum was held at St George Leagues Club on Thursday, July 30.
The Members met with Dragons and NRL management for two hours prior to dinner in an interactive Forum to discuss the recent Members Survey findings, Member Forum Member Specific Agenda items and Membership Plans for 2016.
The evening opened with a presentation and discussion surrounding the Member Benefit Survey that was sent to all Red V Members in June. Highlights of the survey include:
79% of respondents indicated that the highest valued benefit was “supporting the Club”
90% either “like” or love” the cap as a benefit for 2016
A more detailed summary of the survey can be found by clicking here.
At the inaugural Members Advisory Forum meeting held on Monday, June 8, Red V Members were asked to provide direct feedback and suggestions that could be considered within the planning process and program for 2016 and beyond.
These thoughtful and valuable suggestions that were shared and discussed at the meeting on Thursday night can be summarised into the below areas:
Packages
Red V Member Benefits
Upgrade Options
Advertising and Promotion
Out of Town Benefits and Offerings
Branding
Fulfillment
Loyalty and Rewards
Communications
Red V Member get Red V Member / Mate get Mate initiatives and concepts
Game Day Red V Member Activity
The Influence of Football on Membership
Early Stage Plans for the 2016 Red V Membership program were also shared and discussed with the Advisory Forum Members, with Dragons Staff and Advisory Forum Members all going away to further consider the topics discussed.
The NRL were also represented at the meeting with NRL Membership Manager Ben Pincus in attendance to provide information from an NRL perspective and to also answer questions and take feedback.
This was particularly informative with respect to the draw and scheduling, both of which have significant impact on Membership programs across the game.
This open and interactive Forum is a positive initiative with valuable contributions from the cross section of Red V Members involved, which are working with Dragons Management to discuss relevant issues and topics with respect to Membership and Fan Engagement.
