The St George Illawarra Dragons would like to thank all Red V Members, Partners and supporters who made our Community Open Day a big success at WIN Stadium, Wollongong on Wednesday!
Red V Members and supporters alike were invited to watch the Dragons train on their home turf ahead of the round 4 clash with the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at the venue on Saturday.
The Dragons NRL squad utilised the training session to practice a number of set-pieces and structures as well as key attacking and defensive drills, all under the observation of Head Coach Paul McGregor.
Afterwards, the players were able to meet and mingle with over 500 Red V Members and supporters who took to the field and happily signed Dragons jerseys as well as smile for the cameras!
Furthermore, Red V Members and supporters were able to tuck-in to a free sausage sizzle manned by staff from the St.George Bank, meet personalities from both i98 FM and WIN TV in additional to watching on as younger Red V fans tested themselves in a pass-the-ball competition.
Red V Members and supporters alike were also able to take advantage of some great offers on Dragons gear whilst also securing their memberships and tickets ahead of the clash against the Sea Eagles at the venue on Saturday.
The Dragons would like to thank in particular the St.George Bank, i98 FM, WIN TV, the Wollongong Entertainment Centre, St George Leagues Club, Steelers Leagues Club and the Junior League for all their support in making the event a big success!
The Dragons recognise the importance these events play within the Community, so be on the look-out for the next event that you can be a part of!
