The St George Illawarra Dragons were privileged to get an advanced screening of the upcoming film ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2’ before it hits cinemas this Thursday!

Dragons players, alongside members of their family, were given the opportunity to watch first-hand the further adventures of Toothless and Hiccup as the pair explore unmapped territories and explore new worlds on the big screen at Events Cinema, Wollongong.

Everyone in attendance left with big smiles on their faces, including Dragons centre Dylan Farrell, who previously had the opportunity to meet-up with Toothless the Dragon for a photo-call at Bondi Beach.

“The film was really exciting and it was great to see the look on my little girl’s face when we told her she was getting to watch the film,” said Farrell.

“Both my kids really love the first “How To Train Your Dragon’ film and I’m sure we will be watching this several times when it gets released to the general public later this week.

“It had a really engaging storyline and the animated computer graphics were excellent.”

‘How to Train Your Dragon 2’ is a 3D computer-animated adventure film produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by 20th Century Fox.

The film is inspired on the book series of the same name written by Cressida Cowell and is the sequel to the successful 2010 computer-animated film ‘How To Train Your Dragon’.

It has been five years since Toothless and Hiccup successfully united dragons and Vikings on the island of Berk and in the latest film the inseparable pair journey through the skies, charting unmapped territories and exploring new worlds.

The movie boasts a stellar cast including Cate Blanchett, Gerard Butler, Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, Kristin Wiig, Jonah Hill and Djimon Hounson.

‘How to Train Your Dragon 2’ hits cinemas on Thursday, June 19.
