St George Illawarra Dragons centre Dylan Farrell will undergo scans in the coming days to determine if he has ruptured his pectoral muscle.

The Culburra Dolphins junior sustained the suspected injury during the 28-24 loss to the Melbourne Storm at AAMI Park, Melbourne on Monday.

“We suspect that Dylan has ruptured his pec which isn’t good and requires surgery but we will need to confirm that with a scan over the next couple of days,” said Dragons Performance Director Andrew Gray.

“If that proves to be the case he will have surgery as soon as possible.”
